Joblix terms of service

1. Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of Joblix, including the Joblix web app, the Joblix Chrome extension, and related services (together, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. What Joblix does

Joblix helps you import job postings, compare those opportunities with your candidate profile, generate tailored application materials, and rehearse written practice interviews. Joblix is a productivity tool. It does not guarantee interviews, job offers, or any particular outcome, and it is not a substitute for your own judgment in preparing and submitting applications.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate account information and are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials and any API keys secure. You must be able to form a binding contract to use the Service. Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

4. Credits, payments, and refunds

Certain features consume credits. Credits can be included with your account or purchased in packs. Prices are shown before purchase, and payments are processed by our third-party payment provider; we do not store your full card details.

• Credits are consumed when you use paid features, such as profile processing, generating materials, or starting a practice interview.
• Credits have no cash value, are non-transferable, and are not redeemable for money except where required by law.
• Purchases are generally non-refundable once the associated credits have been used. If a charge is made in error or a feature fails to deliver, contact us and we will review the issue.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information in applications.
• Upload content you do not have the right to use, or that infringes the rights of others.
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, scrape, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its data.
• Use the Service to violate any applicable law or the terms of any job board or third-party site.
• Resell or provide the Service to third parties without our written permission.

6. Your content

You retain ownership of the content you provide, such as your resume, profile details, and imported job information. You grant Joblix the permissions needed to host and process that content in order to operate and provide the Service to you. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for reviewing any materials before you use them.

7. AI-generated materials

Joblix uses AI to help draft materials, analyze profile-role alignment, and run practice interviews. AI output can be inaccurate or incomplete and may require editing. You are responsible for reviewing, correcting, and deciding whether to use any generated content. Practice-interview feedback is for preparation only and is not a prediction of real interview results.

8. Chrome extension

The Joblix Chrome extension imports job openings you choose into your Joblix workspace. Your use of the extension is subject to these Terms and to the applicable browser web store policies. You may disconnect or uninstall the extension at any time.

9. Third-party services

The Service relies on third-party providers for hosting, database, authentication, payments, and AI infrastructure. We are not responsible for the availability or actions of third-party services, and your use of any third-party site (such as a job board) is governed by that site’s own terms.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any result will be achieved.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Joblix and its suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid to Joblix in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim.

12. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or use the Service in a way that could cause harm or legal exposure. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
