Joblix privacy policy

Overview

Joblix helps users import job postings, compare those opportunities with their candidate profile, and generate tailored application materials. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices users have.

Information we collect

We may collect the following information when users use Joblix:

• Account information, such as name and email address.
• Candidate profile information, such as resume content, experience, education, skills, links, and application preferences.
• Job posting content imported by the user, including job title, company, location, job URL, and job description text.
• Authentication information needed to connect the Chrome extension to the user's Joblix account, such as a Joblix API key stored by the extension.
• Usage information needed to operate and secure the service, such as request logs and error information.

Chrome extension data

The Joblix Chrome extension is used to import job openings into a user's Joblix workspace. When the user chooses to import a job, the extension reads content from the current job posting page and sends the extracted job information to Joblix. The extension may store connection information so the user does not need to reconnect on every import.

The extension does not sell user data, does not use imported job data for unrelated purposes, and does not use user data to determine creditworthiness or for lending purposes.

How we use information

We use information to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve Joblix.
• Import and organize job postings selected by the user.
• Analyze candidate profiles against job openings.
• Generate and improve application materials requested by the user.
• Authenticate users and protect accounts from abuse.
• Respond to support requests and troubleshoot product issues.

Sharing and transfers

We do not sell personal data. We may share information with service providers that help us operate Joblix, such as hosting, database, authentication, analytics, payment, and AI infrastructure providers. These providers are used to deliver the product and are not permitted to use the information for unrelated purposes.

Data retention and security

We keep information for as long as needed to provide Joblix, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.

User choices

Users can update profile information in Joblix, remove imported job content, disconnect or uninstall the Chrome extension, and contact us to request help with account or privacy questions.
